Permission to use copyrighted material:
If you wish to use material that has been published in the JAANP and copyrighted by the AANP (i.e., reprint a table or a figure in another publication) you must request permission from Wiley-Blackwell in the UK at journalsrights@oxon.blackwellpublishing.com citing the following information:
Table, figure, or other material you wish to use,
Journal volume number, issue, and page the material appeared,
Author(s) of the material and title of the article,
The title of your article and the name of the publication in which it will appear.
The date your article is scheduled to be published (if known).
Your name, address, telephone and fax numbers (if you wish the permission to be faxed back to you).
If you are writing an article for publication in the JAANP and want to use copyrighted material from another journal or source you must obtain permission from the copyright holder (usually the publisher or organization owns the copyright). Contact the Permissions Editor or the Editor-in-Chief of the original source of the material with the information above. Many journals charge a fee for this permission and some will not give permission to reprint their material. It is a good idea to check on this as you are writing your manuscript so that you don't plan to use something that will not be available to you or for which you will have to pay a large fee. Remember, authors are responsible for paying any fees charged for permissions.
