AANP’s Living with COPD material includes content to support counseling of patients diagnosed with or at risk for COPD.   COPD has recently ranked as the third leading cause of death in the U.S.  As a preventable and treatable disease, it is critical that healthcare providers have access to easy-to-use and understandable patient educational material.   This resource was created by clinical experts and designed to be used in direct patient teaching.  A “virtual flipchart” is available.  This version can be downloaded and used on a computer or portable device, or printed locally.  The development of this flipchart was funded by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
