About FAANP
Mona M. Counts
PhD, CRNP, FNAP, FAANP
Mona Counts, PhD, CRNP, FNAP, is currently the Elouise Ross Eberly Professor at the Penn State University, School of Nursing. Dr. Counts has been instrumental in the development of NP curricula across the country since 1970 and has helped build and change curriculum over time.
In addition, Dr. Counts developed one of the first NP run rural practices. Over the years Dr. Counts has paved the way for independent practice with regard to reimbursement issues and serves as a role model for faculty practice.
