Sabrina Dianne Jarvis
DNP, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP

Dr. Jarvis has been a nurse for over 34 years, and a nurse practitioner for 20 years. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Utah and is dual certified as an acute care nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner. Dr. Jarvis currently works full-time as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Brigham Young University's College of Nursing in the graduate NP program and part-time as an SICU nurse practitioner at the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs' Medical Center. She is the 2007 recipient of the Utah Nurse Practitioner State Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice and the 2006 recipient of the Utah Nurse Practitioner State Award for Excellence in Education. She has been involved in publishing articles and book chapters and lectures nationally on acute care and critical care topics.
