Richard Ricciardi
PhD, CRNP, FAANP

Dr. Ricciardi, who received his PhD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Washington, DC, is a pediatric and family nurse practitioner and has been in NP practice since 1983. During his military career, Colonel Ricciardi has dedicated himself to improving the access and quality of health care delivered to service members and their families. His research focuses on optimizing the health of military personnel preparing to deploy. He is a Past President of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). He currently practices at Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he is also the Chief of Nursing Research and an adjunct assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Washington, DC.
