Award Eligibility: As a reminder, AANP is not permitted to provide items of monetary value to any federal, state, or local: elected or appointed official; member of the legislative branch; or member or the military. It also includes any employee: of the federal or state executive branch; the federal or state legislative branch; a state agency; or any local government. Individuals in these positions are “government employees” and will receive public recognition and be presented with a certificate but will not receive additional items.
