Industry Events

The cost of industry-supported (IS) events presented at the 2024 AANP Fall Conference is not included in the conference registration fees. Limited, non-CE product theaters are funded entirely by the supporting or sponsoring company, allowing the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) to offer some conference registrants complimentary access to a limited number of non-CE educational presentations.

Due to their educational focus and guideline requirements, attendance is restricted to conference registrants only. To expedite processing attendees into these events, registration will occur on site at the entrance of each scheduled event on a first-come, first-served basis. Preregistration is not available for IS events.

Presentation Information

Descriptions of IS events and location information are included on signage throughout the conference venue and on promotional announcements.

Registration and Admission for Industry-Supported Events

Attendance at IS events is limited, with some restrictions, to registered conference attendees. To expedite processing attendees into these events, registration and admission will occur at the entrance of each event on a first-come, first-served basis. You must wear your official conference name badge to be scanned for admission. There will be no preregistration.

Non-CE Meal Presentations

With assistance provided by industry sponsors, AANP can include extra educational presentations with food service via non-CE product theaters at the 2024 AANP Fall Conference. Conference attendees have limited, complimentary access to those events. Breakfast, lunch and dinner events will offer a vegetarian option. The opportunity to attend any of these events is available only to registered 2024 AANP Fall Conference attendees.

Non-CE Product Theaters (PTs)

Non-CE product theaters are listed within this insert. These branded, and some non-branded, educational presentations are sponsored through health care industry companies’ marketing funds.

Some state regulations require industry to track and report the value of gifts to health care providers from industry marketing. The report must contain the recipient’s name and contact information. Since product theater industry sponsors must declare the value of each meal provided to attendees as a gift, each product theater attendee is providing permission for AANP to release their contact information (including name, mailing address, phone number, email address and other information, as requested) to the event sponsor and their organizing company for the purpose of meeting the various state regulations or government reporting requirements and sending attendees related event product updates. In some states, the total value of gifts a provider may receive annually is so low that sponsors of a particular product theater may elect to not provide access to attendees from certain states. There are also restrictions in some employment settings for some states.

Signage will be displayed near each event entrance. If provided by the sponsor, signage will also be displayed near the entrance of the applicable event indicating the states or employment settings restricting health care providers from attending that particular industry-sponsored, non-CE product theater event.

AANP Industry Non-CE Disclaimer Statement

The opportunity to attend any industry non-CE event is available only to registered conference attendees. The product theater event and its program information at this AANP conference is not an AANP product endorsement. AANP has not reviewed the product theater content or slides as this is a non-CE event.
