Cynthia Edwards-Tuttle EMBA, FNP-BC, graduated from the University of Iowa with a baccalaureate degree in nursing and obtained both a Master in Nursing and Post-graduate FNP as well as her EMBA from the University of Toledo. She is a board member at large for the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN) and promotes the advancement of clinical, educational and legislative opportunities for all ANPs.
Edwards-Tuttle attended the LDL-Think Tank for the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association and represented the vital role of the ANP when they provide care to patients with hyperlipidemia and best practice management. She is published with the Medical Advisory Board Company highlighting the role of the ANP to meet patient access gaps.
As a voice in many health care organizations, Edwards-Tuttle highlights solutions for primary care and specialty care gaps to promote ANP providers and facilitate patient access and population health care management. Her clinical practice experience, EMBA and leadership allow her to promote the recognition and achievement of ANPs who provide cost-effective care through turbulent times as health care moves to patient-centered, accountable care. Edwards-Tuttle provides a voice through her legislative, educational and media opportunities to promote ANPs to practice to the fullest scope of licensure.
