AANP Leadership

Serving the NP Community—Advocating for NPs and Patients

An organization dedicated to advancing the nurse practitioner (NP) role, AANP is governed by a board of directors comprised of volunteers—four officers and 11 regional directors—who are elected by AANP members. A Nomination Council and several committees are charged with guiding the association's efforts related to leadership, practice, research, conferences and more.

AANP welcomes your input and encourages you to participate in these leadership opportunities to help increase awareness of the NP role and improve patient care.
