Dr. Jessica Peck is the Region 6 Director of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP). Peck provides innovative, visionary and award-winning leadership to inclusive and diverse interprofessional teams, ensuring outcomes of high-quality health care. She is a respected national and international expert on human trafficking who has influenced state and federal policy to engage health care systems to effectively respond to at-risk children. Peck has received both the Sharp Cutting Edge and State Award for Excellence recognitions from the AANP. She holds the outstanding policy award from the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty. Peck is in the Hall of Fame for the University of Texas Medical Branch, a Distinguished Alumnus for the University of Alabama and a two-time inductee into the publishing Hall of Fame from the International Academy of Nurse Editors. She is an accomplished author of clinical articles for peer-reviewed journals, a regular contributor for parenting magazines and a frequent guest on radio, television and other media to promote the health of children.
