Maria Kidner, APRN, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Maria Kidner, from Cheyenne, Wyoming, is the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) Region 8 Director. She has been a nurse practitioner (NP) for 19 years. Kidner is the founder of LEAP Leadership, a company that provides education and mentorship to nurses to strengthen their professional identity and leadership skills. Her clinical work includes the initiation of the NP role in remote critical care access, where she launched the opening of emergency rooms. Kidner was the first NP on the State Trauma Team in 2002 and one of the first NPs in a cardiology specialty practice in Wyoming.
