Workplace Violence
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) believes that health care settings must foster respect of patients and providers and be free from violence or threats of violence. We urge all health care facilities to implement comprehensive violence prevention programs and freedom from retaliation for reporting workplace incidents. AANP calls on all health care facilities to take proactive measures to ensure protections are in place to maintain work environments that prioritize safety.
