Receiving Accreditation for Your CE Activity
Assuring and Advancing the Quality of Continuing Nurse Practitioner (NP) Education
AANP is committed to the development of educationally sound continuing education (CE) that is relevant to NP practice. Through accreditation, you can ensure your CE activities are consistent with AANP quality standards — and share your content with an active community of NPs. All NP CE providers are encouraged to submit activities for review and credit, thereby reinforcing the value of high-quality CE and promoting best practices in education.
Individual CE Activity Accreditation
You’ve worked hard to develop workshops, lectures, seminars, conferences, online education, monographs, publications, activities and much more. Now, get your CE in front of NPs who need it by applying for AANP accreditation! All activity sponsors are invited to apply.

Apply Online
Applying for accreditation is an easy online process. Before submitting your application, please gather the following items:
- NP Organization number or IRS tax ID number, if applicable.
- Certificate of Completion.
- Activity Evaluation.
- Activity Agenda/Schedule.
- Activity Marketing.
- All names and email addresses for the planners and faculty members involved in the activity.
- Session details to complete the activity template: dates, times, speaker name(s), title of session, objectives and pharmacology objectives and minutes, if applicable.
Please note that applications submitted more than 90 calendar days prior to the event will not be accepted. Applications submitted within 14 business days of the activity date will be expedited.

Approved Provider Information
Effective January 5, 2017, AANP is not accepting applications for new Approved Providers.
AANP Approved Providers are groups or individuals who have demonstrated the ability to design, implement and evaluate CE activities for NPs without prior review by AANP. Each of the providers below offers a variety of CE programs.
