Applications for the 2022 funding cycle closed on March 23 at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT).

All applicants will be notified once the scholarship recipients have been determined. If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be required to complete and sign a written acknowledgment form.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Not be a member of the AANP Board of Directors or a relative of a current AANP board member or state liaison.
  • Not be an AANP staff member or related to an AANP staff member.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited graduate school.
  • Have at least one semester of your current program completed.
  • Complete your program with the result of a master's degree or doctoral degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Complete your program between fall (August) 2022 and summer (July) 2023.

Eligible Disciplines

Applicants should be enrolled in one of these academic disciplines:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner Track).
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (Post-master’s or BSN to DNP).
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing or Related Field.

  • Copy of your NP program of study.
  • Copy of your most recent official, certified transcript.
  • Verification of program accreditation.
  • Two current, professional references on letterhead.
  • Current CV or résumé.
