    Meet Your Representatives Face to Face

    Attend days one and two of the conference, learn about the issues, develop your talking points—and then put it all into action!

    Tuesday, March 10, is Hill Day. AANP will schedule appointments for you and other NPs from your area to visit Capitol Hill, sit down with your representatives or senators and talk face to face about the issues facing NPs and our patients.

    At the 2020 AANP Health Policy Conference, you have the ability to directly influence legislators and affect positive change in both the strength of the NP role and the health of your community!

    Housing Details

    All rooms in the AANP housing block at the Grand Hyatt Washington are standard rooms at the special conference rate of $319.00 for single/double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes, currently 14.95%. There may also be applicable service and hotel-specific fees.

    The conference rate is available for standard rooms Saturday, March 7, 2020, through Tuesday, March 10, 2020. For dates outside of this range, the housing site will still offer the best available rate.

    All reservations must be made by Monday, February 17, 2020. Room types selected during the reservation process are requests only. The hotel will make every effort to accommodate your room selection at check-in.

    AANP reserves the right to change information on this webpage without advance notice.

    Registration Policies

    Cancellations and Refunds

    All cancellation requests must be submitted to AANP no later than 11:59 p.m. CT on Monday, January 6, 2020; no refunds will be granted after this date. To cancel your conference registration, you must submit written notice via email to confcancellation@aanp.org. A refund will then be issued minus a $75 administrative fee or a $50 administrative fee for student registrations (entry-level student members only).

    No Shows

    If you do not cancel in writing by 11:59 p.m. CT on January 6, 2020, and you do not attend, no refund will be granted.

    Housing Policies

    Housing Cancellations

    If you cancel your conference registration, remember to cancel your housing reservation within the AANP housing block. AANP reserves the right to remove any housing reservations that are not supported by a conference registration.

    Hotel Policies

    Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be cancelled by 3 p.m. ET at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival in order to avoid cancellation fee, which is one night's room rate plus tax.

    Early Departure Fee: An early departure fee, which is one night’s room rate plus tax, will be assessed to any guest who departs prior to the date confirmed at check-in. The fee will be automatically posted to the guest folio on or after departure. This fee will be waived only with 24-hour advance notice from departure date. Emergency and other special circumstance situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
