  • 2021 AANP National Conference Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why is the 2021 AANP National Conference online only?

After closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local protocols in Anaheim, California, it was decided to cancel the in-person conference and make CE sessions available online. Even if the regional stay-at-home order that includes Anaheim was lifted soon, carrying out the logistics of an in-person conference would not be possible in such a limited time frame.

This conference is for health care providers, many of whom have been vaccinated. Why can't we meet in person?

Based on guidance received from local officials and in consideration of existing travel bans and the overall health and safety of our conference attendees, staff, industry partners and vendors, AANP has opted to offer an online conference.

What are the dates of the conference?

The conference will be available beginning June 15, 2021, and will run through August 31, 2021.

    When will registration close?

The registration period ends on July 30, 2021.

How long will the sessions be available for viewing on demand?

Sessions will first be available beginning June 15, 2021, and will be available through August 31, 2021.

    What happens after I register?

A receipt will be emailed to you after you complete your registration. Once the conference officially opens on June 15, 2021, you will receive an email with instructions, including information on how to log in, how to access the online platform and other pertinent information.

How many contact hours of CE are available with this online conference?

There will be more than 80 contact hours of CE available for this conference. The program is currently pending approval for CE and pharmacology credit by AANP, and the exact number of hours will be posted once all sessions are approved. Pharmacology hours will be posted in or around mid-May.

What is the registration cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests require written notification to AANP at confcancellation@aanp.org and must be received by Monday, June 14, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET. If received by June 14, 2021, a refund will be issued minus a $50 administrative fee ($25 administrative fee for entry-level student registrations). After Monday, June 14, 2021, no refund will be granted.

    Will industry opportunities be available?

Yes; please contact AANP Exhibit Management at exhibits@mma-inc.com or 607-674-2666.
