    About the Webinar:

Hypertension (HTN) care is evolving — are you keeping up? Join this high-impact webinar on novel and emerging pharmacotherapies for treating HTN and gain the latest insights you need to manage uncontrolled and resistant HTN with confidence. Discover cutting-edge therapies, including newly approved and investigational agents, and learn how to apply the latest evidence and guidelines to improve outcomes for your most challenging patients. With nearly half of U.S. adults affected — and many still uncontrolled — this is a must-attend session for nurse practitioners ready to elevate their practice.

Walk away with practical tools you can use immediately — including a downloadable clinical resource handout — and take advantage of a live Q&A with expert faculty to get your real-world questions answered. Plus, earn 1.25 continuing education (CE) credits, including 0.5 pharmacology, while staying ahead of the curve in HTN management.

    Objectives:

    • Describe the prevalence and overarching clinical gravity of HTN.
    • Examine established expert consensus and unbridged practice gaps in HTN management.
    • Differentiate between uncontrolled and resistant HTN, emphasizing the implications for clinical decision-making.
    • Summarize the pharmacology and clinical trial evidentiary base for novel and emerging antihypertensive therapeutics.
    • Design individualized treatment plans for patients with resistant HTN, integrating a synthesis of patient-specific, disease-specific and treatment-specific factors.

This educational activity is supported by an independent medical educational grant from AstraZeneca.
