A Message From the Pulmonary and Sleep Community Co-chairs
Hello, and welcome to AANP’s Pulmonary and Sleep Community! I am excited to serve as co-chair and look forward to collaborating with anyone interested in pulmonary and sleep care. I have practiced in sleep medicine since 2012, both in the clinic setting and on the inpatient consult service. My clinical area of expertise is the management of obstructive sleep apnea and have experience with positive airway pressure and other alternative therapies.
I also have experience managing patients on noninvasive ventilation for chronic hypercapnic respiratory failure. I am a strong supporter of interprofessional collaboration and am interested in how we can work together to improve outcomes in patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders. In addition to my practice experience, I am the associate dean for Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice at Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. I have a special interest in mentoring, so please feel free to reach out. I look forward to connecting with all of you in the Pulmonary and Sleep Community!
