AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is pleased to announce the official results of the 2026 AANP Election. Selected by members during the March 2-31 voting period, these exemplary nurse practitioner (NP) leaders will set the strategic direction for the association and play an instrumental role in guiding the profession forward. The ballots have now been certified by Survey & Ballot Systems, in accordance with the election policies and procedures as approved by AANP.
“Congratulations to the outstanding nurse practitioner leaders selected by our members to help guide AANP and the profession forward,” said AANP President Valerie Fuller, PhD, DNP. “This election reflects the strength and engagement of our membership and the vital role NPs play in shaping the future of health care. I look forward to working with these dedicated leaders as we continue to advance the NP role and improve access to high-quality, patient-centered care nationwide.”
On June 27, individuals elected in 2026 will begin their term of office at the conclusion of the closing general session at the 2026 AANP National Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
