A Note on the Future of the AANP Fall Conference

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is always looking to evolve its conference experiences to meet the needs of nurse practitioners (NPs) across the country — and worldwide. As more than 4,500 NPs make their way back home from the 2024 AANP National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, and join over 1,600 of their colleagues online for the on-demand content, AANP would like to announce a pilot program for the 2025-2026 AANP Fall Conference.

While NPs should continue to register and look forward to the traditional 2024 AANP Fall Conference, September 19-22, in Reno, Nevada, AANP will be piloting a fully online fall conference experience in 2025 and 2026. Following the 2025-2026 AANP Fall Conference Pilot Program, AANP will review attendee feedback, educational outcomes and the economic environment to determine whether to bring back the in-person fall conference or continue to offer it on-demand.

Attendees of the 2025 and 2026 AANP Fall Conference can expect:

  • More to Learn and Earn – By going fully virtual, the 2025-2026 AANP Fall Conferences will be able to fully invest in providing additional continuing education (CE) opportunities and offering more specialty focused topics than ever before.
  • Savings on Travel and Housing – If you only have the budget and time-off for one in-person conference that encompasses all facets of professional practice, make it the AANP national conference. The shift to a full on-demand fall conference gives members a wider opportunity to learn from experts in the field and earn valuable CE credit without worrying about the increasing costs associated with travel and lodging.
  • Increased Flexibility – A full on-demand fall conference gives attendees more flexibility to attend specific sessions for more than 30 days.
  • Greater Accessibility – As AANP brings in a more international audience, the shift to a fully on-demand fall conference will allow more attendees across the globe to engage with AANP’s unique conference offerings from any time zone.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2024 AANP Fall Conference in-person in Reno, Nevada. Please note that AANP’s national conferences will continue to be in-person — and NPs can look forward to gathering in San Diego, California for the 2025 AANP National Conference!
