On December 30, 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a payment advisory to alert clinicians who are Qualifying APM Participants eligible for an APM Incentive Payment that CMS does not have their current banking information. The advisory provides information on how clinicians can update their banking information with CMS and also contains a list of all impacted clinicians.
If you are eligible for an APM Incentive Payment through your participation in a Qualifying APM, we encourage you to review the advisory and reference the list to see if you are included. Clinicians have until February 28, 2020, to provide CMS with updated banking information in order to receive their APM Incentive Payments if they have not done so already.
March 8–10, 2020, is just around the corner, and we encourage you to register now for the 2020 AANP Health Policy Conference! We don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to hear from a variety of government and industry experts as they discuss the priorities of Congress and the Trump Administration as well as their potential impact on nurse practitioners (NPs) and patients. Attendees will develop skills and insight necessary to advocate effectively at the federal level and will have the opportunity to deliver the NP message to elected officials and their staff on Capitol Hill Day. The draft program agenda is now available for your review.
