The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is a member-driven organization and relies on its members to step into leadership roles to best advocate for nurse practitioners (NPs) delivering patient-centered care. To that end, AANP hosts annual elections — inviting members to run for AANP leadership and to vote. To quote AANP president Stephen A. Ferrara, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN: “Voting is a chance to directly impact the future of AANP, so I encourage every eligible member to cast a ballot. Your voice matters and together we can shape the direction of our association!”
