AUSTIN, TEXAS (October 25, 2024) – The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is proud to support nurse practitioners (NPs) and other advanced practice nurses (APNs) in countries where the APN role is emerging. Now in its seventh year, the AANP International APN Ambassador Program is offering scholarships that include travel and admission to the 2025 AANP National Conference in San Diego, California, on June 17-22.
Two International APN Ambassadors attended the 2024 AANP National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, including Chiu-Hui Chen, MSc, RN, NP and Arūnė Norvilaitė, MSN, FNP. AANP is grateful for the opportunity to host ambassadors, exchange knowledge with them and support efforts to advance the APN role globally.
All AANP members are encouraged to share this information with their international APN colleagues. International APNs from countries where the role is emerging are invited to review the eligibility requirements and apply. The deadline to submit applications is Nov. 20, 2024, at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT).
