Congress Back in Session

Government Affairs Newsfeed

After a Thanksgiving break, members of Congress have returned to Washington, D.C. to continue their lame duck session of Congress. During this session, they will address outstanding legislation from the 115th Congress. The Senate was back in session yesterday, and the House of Representatives will begin its session today. As previously reported, the 116th Congress will commence in January 2019.

We encourage you to continue to reach out to your members of Congress and urge them to support these key legislative issues impacting NP practice. As NPs and constituents, your voices matter and need to be heard in these last legislative weeks of the 115th Congress.
