AUSTIN, TX -- On behalf of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who have suffered the unimaginable hardship of Hurricane Harvey. We realize that many of our members have family, friends and patients who are coping with the reality of what transpired over the past four days and are working to navigate their way through an incredibly difficult situation. To find family and friends or to register yourself as safe, please visit the American Red Cross Safe and Well site. AANP is working with Texas Nurse Practitioners to support our Texas colleagues and their patients during this challenging time.
We encourage you to visit the following websites to find out how you can support hurricane victims and identify volunteer opportunities to assist all of those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available. Thank you for your continued efforts to support Texas patients and nurse practitioners.
