The American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) has selected a feature article from the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (JAANP) for one of its annual awards. The article, “Organophosphate Insecticide Exposure: A Clinical Consideration of Chlorpyrifos Regulation,” was authored by Alexa Colgrove Curtis, PhD, FNP-BC, and Barbara Sattler, RN, DrPH, FAAN. It was featured in the May 2018 issue of JAANP (Volume 30, Number 5) as the continuing education feature of the month and received the silver award in the “Best Legislative/Government Article” category.
Kim Curry, editor-in-chief of the journal, said, “I had a good feeling about this feature when I nominated it, due to the high quality of the writing and the timeliness of the topic. It is an example of the outstanding manuscripts we receive from our authors, who are advancing science for NPs and other health care providers.”
