NPs have even more time to complete CE courses from the online conference in 2026. The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is conducting planned maintenance during the timeframe of the 2026 AANP National Conference — Online, and as a result AANP has extended the deadline from the original date of Aug. 11 to Aug. 25 — meaning NPs have an additional two weeks to earn CE credit.
What can you expect from this year’s online event? When you log on to the online conference, you’ll be able to choose from 119 sessions devoted to an incredible range of topics including dermatology, pediatrics, psych-mental health, genitourinary and much more. Hours and Hours of Continuing Education — Including Exclusive Content
So far, NPs have registered for a combined total of almost 45,500 online sessions, and nearly 22,500 CE certificates have been awarded in the opening weeks of this event. Some of the most popular courses by registration include Antibiotics and Infection in Acute Care: Update 2026; Evolving Lipid Guidelines: Practical Applications; Clinical Practice Guideline Updates Rhinosinusitis; and sessions on topics like obesity management and alcohol use disorder.
NPs have been very positive about their educational experiences at conference. One NP said that Spinning the Truth: Evaluation of Dizziness in the Emergency Department “was the most excellent presentation on evaluation of dizziness that I have ever heard.” An NP who attended Age-Friendly Postoperative Care in the Oncologic Setting recalled that the “speaker covered a lot of information yet was able to be quite detailed and offered practical tips. One of the best sessions I have had the joy of attending.” And about the course Update on Osteoporosis and Fracture Prevention in Men and Women, one attendee said: “What an excellent overview of the current treatment guidelines and medications used.”
