The AANP CE Center offers a wide variety of continuing education (CE) activities for nurse practitioners (NPs). Members of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) get more, including access to many free activities and significantly discounted rates on others. The activities are updated frequently, and more than a dozen autoimmune-related options are currently available.
Managing patients with MS in the primary care setting can be a complex process. One key component is understanding the signs and symptoms consistent with demyelinating disease. AANP has created a resource document for NPs who manage patients with MS that outlines the common symptoms found in MS and an overview of management techniques for the most commonly seen symptoms.
AANP, in collaboration with educational partner Med-IQ and four expert NPs, has developed a series of educational resources to help NPs start important conversations with patients about strategies for living well with MS. The goal of these resources is to improve the recognition of potential MS resources and encourage patients to discuss issues they may be having with their NPs. The development of these materials is supported by an educational grant from Teva Pharmaceuticals.
There are many resources available for both patients and providers. Some are included below for your convenience. Inclusion of these links does not imply AANP endorsement.
