Menopause Tool

Women experience perimenopause and menopause in a wide variety of ways. Yet, NPs who may be the best positioned to help prepare women for this transition and provide timely treatment may not recognize the burden of systemic and genitourinary symptoms or how they affect their patient’s quality-of-life. In addition, NPs must be able to adapt to the patient’s evolving needs and to consider how health disparities may impact women differently across racial and ethnic backgrounds.

This resource is supported by an independent educational grant from Pfizer as part of the program, “The Impact of Racial and Ethnic Disparities: Menopausal Women and the NP Role”.
