Downtown Indy has been lauded by USA Today, Condé Nast Traveler, Zagat and The New York Times (among others) for its cultural attractions, walkability, great food and nightlife, museums and so much more. What really sets the city apart is its citizens, who greet conference attendees with warm, Hoosier Hospitality!

Enjoy an afternoon exploring Indianapolis history, cultural heritage, new development projects, sports venues, local attractions, citizens and more! Guests will gain an understanding of where Indy has been and what lies on the horizon during this informative and entertaining tour. The tour will include a stop at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
No visit to Indy is complete without a trip to the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Whether you are a race fan or not, this prestigious 2.5-mile oval is a sight to see. The Hall of Fame Museum provides a look at the history of racing and its impact on the local community and the automotive industry. If available, guests will take a lap around the track in a mini bus to get a firsthand experience and historic narrative of the facility.
The morning will begin with an up-close look at the automotive and racing industries, past and present, at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The first stop will be to take a lap around the famed oval race track, including a brief pit stop at the start/finish line "yard of bricks" for a quick photo opportunity. After their ride, attendees will have time to explore the Hall of Fame Museum and Gift Shop.
Next, attendees will eat lunch at a favorite local Speedway restaurant. After a chance to refuel, the final stop will be at the Dallara IndyCar Factory for a look at the future of racing and some hands-on racing experiences. Exhibits are centered around the engineering and technology of the world's fastest sport. Walk through a tunnel filled with the current IndyCar blueprints and design concept drawings; sit down and relax while watching a short movie about Gian Paolo Dallara and his company, Dallara Automobili; have a green screen photo taken with a real IndyCar (your take-home souvenir); try your hand in the racing simulators; and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a ride in a street-legal, specially designed, two-seat IndyCar. You will sit in the second seat, behind the driver, and take a spin through the streets of Speedway.

Guests will take a cellar tour and participate in a wine tasting prior to relaxing with some cool, live jazz and a delicious lunch.
