Debbi Lindgren-Clendenen, RN, MN, GNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP
Debbi Lindgren-Clendenen is the Region 5 Director of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP).
Debbi is a tireless health policy leader and advocate. She successfully retired from several rural Minnesota collaborative practice agreements, mobilizing these nurse practitioners (NPs) to practice at the top of their license. She has served as the elected AANP state representative/liaison for the state of Minnesota for several terms.
Using innovative, evidence-based, patient-focused technology, Debbi also initiated and developed three additional clinical specialty NP roles at her statewide health care system. She was the first NP on two pioneering multidisciplinary teams to develop, initiate and expand the NP role to full practice for two different cardiology programs at the Minneapolis Heart Institute. She was awarded the 2015 AANP Clinical Excellence Award.
