International Membership
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is committed to advancing the role of the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) globally. Being a part of AANP is more than just a membership — it’s a real opportunity to make a measurable difference in the strength of your profession and the health of patients. International APN Member
International Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Membership Qualifications:
- Permanent residency outside the United States.
- Minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent.
- Generalized or specialized APN.
- The two most common APN roles are Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Prospective members must not be from a country that is excluded from membership.
- APN Dues: $19-99 USD.
Membership fees are based on country of permanent residence. To account for global income differences, membership fees are informed by the World Bank Classification of Income Economies.

International Student Member
International Student Membership Qualifications:
- Permanent residency outside the United States.
- Enrolled in a graduate nursing program pursuing advanced practice nurse status in the country where you will practice.
- May remain classified as an international student for up to five years.
- Prospective members must not be from a country that is excluded from membership.
- Student Dues: $9-39 USD.

Sudan (SD) Below countries are excluded from AANP membership because of United States sanctions:
