Getting involved in NP-specific research doesn't have to be difficult. Whether designing your own study, participating in a survey through NPInfluence or periodically updating your American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) membership profile, there are many opportunities to get involved.
AANP Network for Research (AANPNR)
The AANPNR is a free online community that provides NPs with a platform to interact with other researchers. Benefits of the AANPNR include sharing resources with other NPs, receiving a monthly newsletter and much more!
AANP Communities Pilot Survey Program
AANP offers members and nonmembers a new opportunity to collect data from NPs in up to three AANP Communities. Applications for the 2026 spring cycle will open on Jan. 1 and close on Feb. 15. Applications for the 2026 fall cycle will open July 1 to Aug. 15.
NPInfluence
NPInfluence is an online panel for NPs interested in research, allowing them to take surveys and earn rewards for sharing their opinions. Both AANP members and nonmembers are encouraged to join!
