The AANP CMV Examiner training program will enable medical examiners the ability to interpret and apply the FMCSA rules and will prepare the medical examiner to pass the NRCME certification exam. Our course meets or exceeds the FMCSA's core education requirements and is accredited by AANP.
The course is available for AANP members who are licensed, certified, or registered in their state to perform physical examinations (NP, PA, MD, DO and DC). Training is 100% online and presented in 12 subject modules with instructional videos, quizzes and a post-test that follows each module. Included is a study guide with practice questions to support preparation for the certification exam. All participants will have access to the materials and videos for 1 year from the date of purchase. AANP provides a printable certificate, uploaded in your portfolio, upon successful completion of the program.
FMCSA regulations and guidelines are reviewed regularly, and the training is updated as required. This course was last updated on April 20, 2016.
CE Center generates certificates immediately after the post test and evaluation are completed. CE activity credit varies with many offering pharmacology credit.
AANP CE credit is universally accepted by all state boards of nursing and NP certifying bodies to meet NP CE requirements. It is also recognized by the American Dietetic Association.
CE Center activities come in a variety of formats and topics. This includes monthly CE activities from articles in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners (JNP) which can be accessed directly from the Center. These and other CE activities can be found by category, program delivery type, key words, and title search.
For the newest CE activities select Recent Additions from the category selections on the Center's landing page. Check back regularly for new activities.
Completed program records are conveniently maintained in the Portfolio section of the CE Center, allowing certificates to be re-printed as needed. The Portfolio maintains all AANP CE records, including those from AANP national and specialty conferences. It is found under My Account along with a list of all Products (CE activities) started by the user.
AANP Members can also upload non-AANP certificates into this CE tracker, keeping all their CE records in one, easy to access location.
