Applications Open for International Advanced Practice Nurse Ambassador Scholarship Program

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is proud to support nurse practitioners (NPs) and other advanced practice nurses (APNs) in countries where the APN role is emerging. Now in its sixth year, the AANP International APN Ambassador Program is offering scholarships that include travel and admission to the 2024 AANP National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 25-30.

Four International APN Ambassadors attended the 2023 AANP National Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, including Sandra Veronica Leyan Castillo, FNP-C; Godfrey Cosma Martis Ajgaonkar, BN, MN, MNNP; Beatriz Rosana Gonçalves de Oliveira Toso, DSc, RN; and Roland van Rens, RN, MaANP. AANP is grateful for the opportunity to host ambassadors, exchange knowledge with them and support efforts to advance the APN role globally.

All AANP members are encouraged to share this information with their international APN colleagues. International APNs from countries where the role is emerging are invited to review the eligibility requirements and apply. The deadline to submit applications is Nov. 29.
