AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) announces the opening of the AANP National Nurse Practitioner (NP) History Grant. This funding opportunity is for a research or scholarly project focused on the historical foundations of NP movement at the national or international level.
Open to all AANP members in good standing who demonstrate expertise or interest in historical research, the grant will provide up to $10,000 in funding. AANP National NP History Grant projects should contribute novel findings to the body of existing knowledge as new, original research related to — and of importance to — the NP role.
All AANP National NP History Grant submissions must be made by March 14, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Applications will be judged on the contribution to historical research, resources to be utilized, dissemination plan, articulated budget and overall quality of submission. Only completed applications will be accepted and reviewed.
