Membership now offers even more valuable benefits for students preparing to become nurse practitioners — at no additional cost!
AUSTIN, TEXAS — The American Association of Nurse Practitioners® (AANP) is committed to supporting the success of nurse practitioners (NPs) and NP students. To enhance the comprehensive portfolio of benefits available to AANP NP Student Members, an updated Student Resources webpage has been published that includes brand-new tools developed exclusively for NP students.
The informative AANP Gear Up for Success as a Nurse Practitioner guide is an invaluable resource that provides tips to assist prospective NPs as they advance through rigorous academic programs and enter clinical practice. Formatted for easy access on a mobile device or personal computer, the guide is available for any AANP member to bookmark or download.
Additionally, an innovative, new AANP Student Education and Training (SET) site was just launched that includes educational activities on clinical practice, professional development and diversity, equity and inclusion. There is no cost for AANP Student Members to access dozens of educational activities and earn a certificate of completion! Faculty are encouraged to view the catalog and recommend relevant learning opportunities to their students. Continuing education (CE) credit is not offered for these activities.

All AANP members now have access to 12 free CE courses annually through the AANP Course of the Month program. Members also receive significant discounts on AANP conferences and free access to webinars and podcasts that convey CE credit, making their investment in AANP membership more valuable than ever!
